Otherwise I wouldn't have attempted to measure capacitors, and soon inductors with the arduinoīut I was not sure if it was because the tolerance of the cap was say M I would use a proper bridge to measure capacitors to 1% or betterīright:I don't really want to get myself an lcr meter I cannot know how bad your arrrrrghuino is or is not I plan to buy a few new caps to measure their capacitance with my arduino Which caps, be it electrolytic, polypropylene, polyester are the most are the most "precise" in their rating of the capacitance?Īlso define accuracy, as there are ranges where one would be used over another No way to do that while the circuit is operating To test a cap, you have to charge/discharge it Shawn|i786, how about telling us what you're really trying to do? I thought a DMM was soft enough to be used on hot circuits Can you do it, and can you do it reliably, are different Shawn|i786, I think d_low makes the best point. Would parallel testing a hot cap change the behavior? I dont think you can reliably test a cap while the circuit is powered Shawn|i786, logically I would say it's possible, for if not, how would the ADC on a microcontroller every measure voltage across a cap without screwing everything up. Shawn|i786, What if the capacitor is so small, it nears the capacitance of the DMM, changing the operation of the circuit? Shawn|i786, I would think that depends largely on the system, and the test method Is it safe to test motherboard caps while a system is operating? Maybe because I was a draftsman before going to college to get my BSEE. I see errors like that all the time in datasheets.

I see in the original symbol submitted for identification, the draftsman ran an extra line across it. I'll confirm the symbol, if I can find that chip in my file. It's just only really going to work as long as the voltage in the signal path doesn't get too close to the body voltage You can make an analog mux out of four-pin mosfets right?

I've used it to mux a 8051s single UART among 4 drivers types There are a bunch of these that I can't even find a datasheet for I don't think there are any pic's in here Hey, so, with convolution, if two functions only overlap at one value for t, what happens exactly? Mail the PICs to me, I'll help you sort It doesn't help that I'm looking up ever datasheet as I go He's not the most organized person in the world I dug this out of my fiancee's dad's basement

This 12 drawer "organizer" or whatever is stuffed full of them It sounds like minecraft lol, but its not Password2: sure, but what I was mostly worried about is the minerals that would be introduced if it is an open system Omg, when did this become minecraft discussion possibly only the bearings to replace from time to timeĪlso if you recirculate the water you save loads of energy don't need much maintenance if you recirculate the same water IC engine require way too frequent oil change, and rebuild. Thats how i see them implemented in industry Well, i think at small scale a fuel cell or IC engine would be most reliable, then a turbine at medium, and a boiler at large Which, I guess, is one of the first way they found nat gas A bit like an astableĭ_low: can come from that, or can come from a fracture that goes to a methane reserve in the ground
